In 2023, Odense City Council adopted an LGBTQ+ policy and action plan, to accommodate the diversity of the city. The new policy helps toensure that everyone has access to local communities and social life; a safe environment for children and young people’s exploration of gender, identity and sexuality; increasing equality and well-being for all; equal access to associations and leisure activities.
